Final Summary/Reaction

Mostly females took my survey but people mostly use their Cell Phone for check there social media sites and mostly everyone's favorite social media site is Facebook! I honestly thought people would tend to like twitter more. I thought that because I personally believe that everyone know a days use twitter. I personally hardly ever go on Facebook! After this semester I still love my topic especially cause its something I use every day.

Quarter 2 - #3

For my research I did not change anything specific. I am using a Google doc survey with 5 question. Instead of asking the same questions over and over for Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Tumblr I just asked which social media site they use the most. Do they check it on a computer or on a cell phone. Are you a Male/Female and your age and about how many hours a day you go on Social Media. I asked all of my friends to take it and I also asked my mom to post it on her Facebook page so I can a variety result with the different age groups. So far my hypothesis have been true!

Quarter 2 - #2

For my survey I am going to make an online survey using goolgle docs. I choose to do it online since my topic is about Social Media. I decided to ask how many hours are you on your phone to look at facebook/twitter/instagram. I have decided that I will ask all my participants what there age and gender is so I can see the difference. My hypothesis is that the younger you are your going to be on facebook/twitter/instagram more often.

Quarter 2 # 1- Suggested Research Method/Why?

For my 2nd quarter project I decided to do an online survey. I will post the  only survey on every social media site I use like Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr! I will ask a bunch of question that pertain to Social Media such as how old were you when you first got a Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. How many hours do you spend on it per day? Do you find out more news through social media or through the Tv? Just general questions like that! Then when I all my data ill see what people answered!

# 8- Overview

When I first started out with this blog I never realized how much information you can find out about Social Media and how it impacts peoples lives. I read countless stories on how it connected people with their family members. I choose to do the one about the marine and his wife because it was the best one I read. I also found out how even little kids use Social Media for gaming but also to learn! In the Twitter vs. Facebook battle I believe Twitter won but Facebook is not that far away! I believe Twitter is the best for upcoming musicians to get thereselves out there! Who knew because of an award show people could break twitter down! I came to my conclusion that Social Media is the best thing but at the very same time can be the worst thing!

# 7- Social Media is amazing for upcoming Musicians!

I am personally into smaller bands such as Hollywood Ending, Before You Exit, Reverse Order, Plug in Stereo, Twenty One Pilots, 5 Seconds of Summer and many more. I doubt you have heard of them. The only reason why I heard of them was because of twitter! My favorite story to tell about a band that i loved for about 3 years now is Midnight Red. I'm sure you heard there song on the radio called "Take Me Home". Well 3 years ago they randomly followed me on twitter. So I decided to check them out. Turned out I fell in love with them. Next thing I know they are getting bigger and bigger by the day! 3 years ago I never thought I would hear one of there songs on the radio! Another success story is about 5 Seconds of Summer! They are from Australia. One day 3 best friends decided to make a band and add one more member. They then put covers out on YouTube. Louis Tomlinson from One Direction was on YouTube one day and randomly came across one of there covers. Next thing 5 Seconds of Summer realize is that they are going on a completely sold out tour with One Direction all across the world! There are many more success stories that was only a success because of Twitter or YouTube such as Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, even Rebecca Black!

#6 - Social Media in an Award Show

I know I would have never thought of this but who knew an Award Show would attract so many tweets that people actually break twitter! Last night on The Oscars Ellen Degeneres and many other actors took the "most famous selfie ever." When Ellen posted the picture it broke twitter! It just stopped working. This isn't the first time Twitter stopped working because of an award show. It happened in 2011 when Beyonce announced that she was pregnant live! People were Tweeting 8,868 tweets per second! That beat tweeting Osama Bin Ladens caputre and the Royal Wedding. Who knew Social Media could break!
